This page explains how to correct an eECD that has already been signed off when incorrect or incomplete information is discovered, or when the eECD is rejected at the loading place and a new cleaning cycle is required.
Important: Corrections to an eECD with the status SIGNED OFF can only be handled by issuing a new eECD. The correct option depends on the type of error and the process scenario.
Correction options

Use this option when, after driver sign-off, the previous load information or other information on the eECD is incorrect or incomplete. This also applies when the eECD was issued incorrectly and the carrier/equipment operator wants to invalidate it without any loading taking place.
Action

The carrier/equipment operator adds a new non-registered load to the equipment ID.

Adding the non-registered load automatically consumes the old signed-off eECD.

The cleaning cycle can then start again, and the cleaner generates a completely new eECD.

The old incomplete eECD is archived as proof between the cleaning station/tank cleaning depot and the carrier/equipment operator.

If useful, the cleaner can refer to the former eECD number in comment box 11 of the new eECD.
Background note
The carrier/equipment operator typically passes the eECD information from the cleaning station/tank cleaning depot to the loading place and cannot make textual changes once an eECD is final and signed off. The driver can add final comments to the completed eECD during sign-off at the cleaning station/tank cleaning depot.
